Abstract

Foreign exchange markets are currently the most important of the financial marketplaces in the world, handling in excess of 4 trillion$ in daily trading volumes. Although mainly automated by a global system of Inter-Bank Dealers, a recent emergence of web-based information technology has enabled the participation of the individual trader in the foreign exchange market. The main objective of this work is to learn what Forex trading is and to study analytical methods for predicting market trends and future prices. In order to achieve this goal, it has also been shown that this market has many advantages over the traditional stock markets and those investors and traders can benefit from the foreign exchange market in the same way, if not more, than they do with the stock markets. This report examines the USD/JPY currency pair during June 2022 using various tools and indicators provided by brokerage firms in Meta Trader 4.
